Kawasaki Z900 Variants and On-Road Prices
Kawasaki keeps the Z900 lineup simple: one variant, one price. The Standard variant is available at Rs 9,99,000 ex-showroom across India for 2026. There's no base-vs-top trim debate to agonise over - every Z900 buyer gets the full electronics package including bidirectional quickshifter, cruise control, 5-inch TFT with Bluetooth, IMU-based cornering traction control and ABS, and ride-by-wire throttle.
The single-variant approach has always been part of the Z900's appeal. Rather than charging extra for electronic rider aids as optional packs, Kawasaki bundles everything into one price. At Rs 9,99,000 ex-showroom, that price-to-equipment ratio is hard to beat in India's superbike segment.
On-road prices vary by state due to RTO charges:
- Delhi: Rs 11,23,830
- Mumbai: Rs 12,43,710
- Pune: Rs 12,43,710
- Bangalore: Rs 12,24,230
- Chennai: Rs 12,75,100
Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu have the highest RTO rates for superbikes, which is why Mumbai and Chennai on-road prices are notably higher than Delhi. Buying in Delhi saves you Rs 1.2 lakh on-road compared to Mumbai.
One important 2026 pricing note: the bike ships as a single-seater. The pillion seat and rear footpegs are an Rs 35,200 optional accessory. If you want to carry a passenger, factor that into your total budget.

For financing, most dealers offer 90% on-road funding. On an Rs 11,24,000 on-road price in Delhi, a 10% down payment of Rs 1,12,400 leaves a loan of Rs 10,11,600 - at 10% interest over 3 years, that's approximately Rs 32,600 per month EMI. First-year insurance is bundled with the on-road price; after year one, a comprehensive policy typically runs Rs 18,000-25,000 annually. Kawasaki dealerships run periodic exchange and finance offers - worth asking about before signing.
