2026 Kawasaki Z900 Launched in India at Rs 9,99,000
Kawasaki India launched the 2026 Z900 with two new colour schemes - the return of Candy Lime Green and a new Graphenesteel Gray - alongside a minor power increase to 123.6 bhp (up 1.6 bhp) and a 1 kg weight reduction to 212 kg kerb. The price was set at Rs 9,99,000 ex-showroom, which is Rs 19,000 less than the 2025 model's revised price. The biggest talking point: the bike is now sold as a single-seater, with the pillion seat costing Rs 35,200 extra.
2025 Kawasaki Z900: The Bigger Update
The 2025 model, launched at Rs 9,52,000, brought the most comprehensive update since the Z900's India debut. Key additions included a 5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth, ride-by-wire throttle, cruise control, bidirectional quickshifter, and a 5-axis IMU enabling cornering traction control and cornering ABS. The headlight was redesigned to a triple-pod LED unit and the W-shaped tail light replaced the older Z-shape.
Z900: India's Best-Selling Superbike
Across multiple consecutive years, the Kawasaki Z900 has led superbike sales in India. The Z900's combination of sub-Rs 10 lakh pricing, CBU reliability, and full-displacement engine keeps pulling buyers who want the inline-four experience without the Rs 15-20 lakh outlay of a Ducati or BMW.
