Z900 Photos

The 2026 Kawasaki Z900 carries forward the Sugomi design language that Kawasaki introduced on the previous generation - a Japanese term roughly meaning "aura of power" - but with sharper execution. The front end is defined by a new triple-pod LED headlight cluster that replaced the older twin-eye unit, giving the Z900 a more aggressive, wide-eyed face that's recognisable in a rear-view mirror.

The fuel tank is muscular with neatly integrated extensions that flow into the mid-section, and the tail section is shorter and more abrupt than before - the new W-shaped LED tail light replacing the older Z-shaped unit. The overall silhouette is compact and hunched-forward without being as extreme as a fully-faired sportsbike.

In person, the Z900 looks smaller than photos suggest - the 830mm seat height and relatively narrow tank make it feel approachable when you're standing next to it. The trellis frame is partially exposed between the engine and panels, giving it an industrial look that's more honest about its mechanical nature than bikes with full fairings.

The cockpit is dominated by the 5-inch TFT display - Kawasaki's Rideology app connects via Bluetooth and lets you customise display layouts, log rides, and access diagnostics from your phone. The switchgear is clean and logically laid out, though the left switch cluster is dense if you're new to bikes with this many rider modes.
