Harley-Davidson Street Rod Variants and Prices in India
The Harley-Davidson Street Rod was available in two variants in India, both sharing the same 749cc engine and core hardware. The entry variant was priced at ₹5,99,000 (ex-showroom), while the top-end variant was positioned at ₹6,53,000 - a ₹54,000 gap that reflected additional colour and finish options rather than mechanical differences.
Both variants came fully equipped: dual Brembo front discs, 43 mm USD forks, gas-charged twin rear shocks, dual-channel ABS, LED tail lamp and indicators, drag-style handlebars with bar-end mirrors, and the split seat setup. There were no meaningful spec compromises between the two tiers - the choice was essentially cosmetic.
Harley-Davidson also reduced the Street Rod's price during its lifecycle. In a bid to boost volumes, the brand trimmed the ex-showroom price at various points, and the bike eventually settled near ₹5.99 lakh before being discontinued in 2019 as Harley restructured its India business following the exit from direct manufacturing.
For buyers in 2025, the Street Rod is strictly a used-market proposition. Well-maintained examples with 15,000-30,000 km on the clock are available in the ₹2.8-4.2 lakh range depending on condition, service history, and location. Bikes from metros like Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore tend to fetch higher prices due to dealer proximity and better maintained service records. Always verify the service history at an authorised H-D outlet before buying.

Since both Street Rod variants were mechanically identical, buying advice is straightforward: choose based on your preferred colour and the seller's asking price. On the used market, prioritise service history over price - a Street Rod with a verifiable H-D dealership service record is worth a modest premium. Avoid bikes that have had major engine work at unauthorised workshops, as sourcing OEM parts can be time-consuming and costly. Inspect the USD forks for oil seepage and check the Brembo calipers for pad wear before purchase.
