Street Rod Specifications

The Harley-Davidson Street Rod is powered by a 749cc liquid-cooled High Output Revolution X V-twin engine - the same architecture as the Street 750, but tuned for significantly more punch. The engine produces 68 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 64 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm, which represents a meaningful step up over the Street 750's output. The liquid cooling keeps temperatures more manageable on the highway, though city idling still generates considerable heat toward the rider's legs.

The chassis upgrades are where the Street Rod separates itself. The front gets 43 mm upside-down (USD) telescopic forks - a significant leap over the Street 750's conventional units - paired with twin gas-charged rear dampers with piggyback reservoirs. Ground clearance increases to 205 mm, allowing the Street Rod to lean into corners with more confidence. Braking hardware is exceptional for the price: twin 11.8-inch front discs gripped by Brembo two-piston calipers, with a single disc at the rear, all managed by standard dual-channel ABS.

The Street Rod's geometry is noticeably sportier than typical Harley-Davidson cruisers. Seat height sits at 765 mm - 55 mm taller than the Street 750 - and the drag-style flat handlebars with bar-end mirrors push the rider into a hunched, forward-leaning position that suits spirited riding. A 13.1-litre fuel tank gives a practical range of around 200-230 km on a full fill based on real-world mileage of approximately 18-20 kmpl.

The kerb weight of 238 kg is heavier than most naked rivals in this segment, but the Street Rod manages to mask it reasonably well at speed. Tyre sizes are 110/80-17 front and 150/70-17 rear - both 17-inch wheels, which makes finding replacement rubber straightforward in India.
