Road King Photos

The Harley-Davidson Road King is one of the most photographed motorcycles in India - its proportions are purpose-built for the camera, and every angle rewards close inspection. The design language is rooted in Harley's touring DNA going back to the 1970s, updated with modern chrome work and LED lighting for the Milwaukee-Eight era.

Side profile is the Road King's strongest angle. The stretched silhouette - long tank, step-up seat, wide rear tyre, and matching saddlebags - communicates touring intent immediately. The chrome exhaust headers curving down from the V-twin engine and the large windshield rising from the fork top clamp complete a look that is instantly recognisable on any highway in India.

Front view is dominated by the wide telescopic fork, the large batwing fairing-mounted headlight assembly, and the imposing front wheel. The Road King does not have the full fairing of the Road Glide - its windscreen is freestanding and detachable, giving the front end a more open, classic look.

Engine close-up is always a highlight. The Milwaukee-Eight 107 is a visual treat - the twin cylinders with their distinctive Harley-Davidson cooling fins, the chrome primary cover, and the belt drive visible along the left side are all details that reward close inspection.

Rear three-quarter shows off the hard saddlebags, the wide rear tyre, and the dual exhaust tips. The touring rack above the tail section is a practical addition that makes the Road King genuinely functional for multi-day rides.

Instrument cluster features a 4-inch circular touchscreen mounted centrally on the tank, displaying speed, gear position, fuel, navigation, and media controls - a significant upgrade over the analogue gauges of older Road Kings.
