The Yamaha FZ X is one of the most photographed 150cc bikes in India, and for good reason - its neo-retro design holds up from every angle and looks noticeably more premium than its price suggests.

The front fascia is the FZ X's defining feature. A round LED projector headlamp sits inside a circular housing with a distinctive split LED DRL ring - a nod to classic British cafe-racer aesthetics without feeling derivative. Head-on, it has presence well above its segment. It's one of the few 150cc bikes that doesn't look anonymous at a traffic light.

The side profile shows a muscular, sculpted fuel tank with bold knee recesses, a slim mid-section, and a short upswept tail that keeps the rear clean. The exposed frame and engine fins make it look purposeful without being aggressive. The wide, flat handlebar sits high - even in photos, the upright riding posture is instantly readable.

From the rear, the smoked-lens LED tail light and minimal fender keep the design uncluttered. The wide 140/60-17 rear tyre gives the FZ X a planted, confident stance that wider 160cc-segment bikes don't always manage.

Up close, the full-LCD instrument cluster with its blue backlight is clean and modern. The tuck-and-roll seat stitching is a genuine retro detail. The engine fins, chrome heat shield, and fork boots are design highlights that reward a close inspection - quality touches you wouldn't normally expect below Rs 1.5 lakh.
