TVS officially launched the updated Apache RTR 160 4V on March 30, 2026. The update focused on making premium features accessible across the lineup rather than piling more onto the top variant. Key changes from the previous generation:
- Projector LED headlamp with slatted LED DRLs - now standard on all three variants
- Full LED lighting including turn indicators - standardised across the range
- Assist and slipper clutch - now fitted to all variants (was previously exclusive to higher trims)
- Lineup rationalised from a confusing 9-variant structure down to 3 clear tiers
Pricing: Rs 1,25,440 (Single Channel ABS), Rs 1,30,690 (Dual Channel ABS with USD), Rs 1,37,440 (USD with TFT). The starting price is slightly higher than the previous base but includes the projector headlamp and slipper clutch that weren't standard before - making the per-feature value better.
2025 - Anniversary Editions and Top-Spec Debut
In 2025, TVS introduced USD forks and the 5-inch TFT display to the Apache RTR 160 4V for the first time. A 20th Anniversary Special Edition was launched in limited numbers to celebrate two decades of the Apache nameplate, featuring gold-accent livery and anniversary badging. The new top variants were praised by reviewers for bringing 200cc-class hardware into the 160cc price bracket.

The 2026 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V lineup consists of three variants: Single Channel ABS (Rs 1,25,440), Dual Channel ABS with USD (Rs 1,30,690), and USD with TFT (Rs 1,37,440) - all ex-showroom Delhi. The top-spec USD with TFT variant features a 5-inch colour TFT display, traction control, Bluetooth SmartXonnect connectivity, and three ride modes (Sport, Urban, Rain).
