Triumph Speed 400 Price in India - All Cities
The Triumph Speed 400 is priced at Rs 2,34,140 ex-showroom in Delhi for the 2026 model year. This is the price before registration, road tax, and insurance - what you actually pay on the road is higher and varies by state.
The Speed 400 launched in July 2023 at an introductory price of Rs 2,23,000 for the first 10,000 customers, later settling at Rs 2,33,000. Multiple price hikes followed through 2024 and 2025 before the 349cc variant launched in April 2026 at Rs 2,31,890 - a small reduction from the outgoing 398cc model's Rs 2,50,551. The current price of Rs 2,34,140 reflects a minor revision post-launch.
On-road price breakdown for key cities:
Delhi: Ex-showroom Rs 2,34,140 + RTO Rs 18,731 + Insurance Rs 12,627 = ~Rs 2,65,498 Mumbai: Ex-showroom ~Rs 2,39,000 + taxes + insurance = ~Rs 2,74,863 Bangalore: Ex-showroom Rs 2,34,140 + RTO Rs 46,780 + Insurance Rs 12,627 = ~Rs 2,93,547 Chennai: Ex-showroom ~Rs 2,39,000 + RTO + Insurance = ~Rs 2,80,859 Pune: ~Rs 2,74,863
The variation is almost entirely due to state road-tax policies. Karnataka's ~20% road tax makes Bangalore the most expensive city to register the Speed 400; Delhi's flat rate keeps on-road costs the lowest among the metros.
For budget planning: add Rs 5,000-15,000 for mandatory accessories (helmets, locks) and Rs 3,000-5,000 for optional add-ons from the Triumph catalogue.

Triumph Speed 400 On-Road Price — All Cities
The Speed 400's pricing puts it squarely against the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 (~Rs 2.39 lakh), the Harley-Davidson X440 (~Rs 2.29 lakh), and above the Honda CB350RS (~Rs 2.0 lakh). Vs the KTM 390 Duke (~Rs 3.10 lakh), it's meaningfully cheaper. Whether the Speed 400 justifies the premium over a Royal Enfield depends on what you value: if it's brand prestige and build quality, yes. If it's the widest service network in India, RE still wins. Check for any current Triumph India offers - there have been periodic cashback and extended warranty promotions through Bajaj dealer networks.
