Triumph Speed 400 Variants and On-Road Prices
The Triumph Speed 400 is offered in a single standard variant - there's no base, mid, or top trim to navigate. Every bike you buy gets the full spec: USD forks, traction control, slipper clutch, dual-channel ABS, ride-by-wire, and the full electronics package. Triumph's thinking here is straightforward - the Speed 400 is already well-specced, so there's no stripped-down model to cut corners on.
The ex-showroom price is Rs 2,34,140 in Delhi. On-road prices vary significantly by state due to differing RTO road-tax rates. Delhi buyers pay around Rs 2,65,498 on-road. In Bangalore, the on-road price climbs to approximately Rs 2,93,547 because Karnataka charges around 20% road tax - one of the highest in the country. Mumbai and Pune come in at around Rs 2,74,863 on-road, while Chennai is approximately Rs 2,80,859.
You get four colour options across all units: Racing Yellow/Pearl Metallic White, Phantom Black/Pewter Grey, Pearl Metallic White/Pewter Grey, and Racing Red/Pearl Metallic White. All four are dual-tone combinations that showcase the Speed 400's clean design language well.
On-road cost breakdown (Delhi, indicative):
- Ex-showroom: Rs 2,34,140
- RTO registration: Rs 18,731
- Insurance (TP + OD): Rs 12,627
- Total on-road: ~Rs 2,65,498
For EMI calculations: at a 10% down payment (Rs 23,414) on a 36-month loan at 9.5% interest, the monthly EMI works out to approximately Rs 6,800-7,000. Most Bajaj Finance and third-party lenders offer financing through Triumph's dealership network.
