The Matter AERA's design language is unmistakably street-fighter, though it wears the genre with a restraint that doesn't tip into aggression. The front end is anchored by a twin-LED headlamp cluster - slim horizontal projector units flanked by angular fairing sections that direct airflow past the liquid-cooled motor casing. At a standstill, the bike reads as tightly packaged: the 5 kWh battery sits low in a tubular steel perimeter frame, keeping the centre of gravity where it belongs.

From the side, the area where a petrol tank would normally live is occupied by electronics - the actual shape mimics a traditional tank form factor, maintaining the ICE-bike silhouette for riders who find EV-specific styling off-putting. The tail section kicks up sharply and terminates in a split-LED unit, with a compact under-seat section that houses the charging port and roughly 3.5 litres of basic storage. Alloy wheels carry 100/80-17 (front) and 130/70-17 (rear) tyres - wider at the rear than most 150cc commuters, giving the bike a planted, athletic stance in photographs.

The centrepiece in any cockpit shot is the 7-inch flush-mounted TFT touchscreen. It is genuinely large - bigger than the primary display on many 600cc-class motorcycles - and in photographs it anchors the design with an unmistakably modern feel. Riding mode, navigation, range, speed, connectivity status, and gearbox position all appear on a single screen. Touch inputs work with gloves on, which matters on an NH44 winter morning.

The mechanical detail worth noting in any gallery: the Hypershift Gearbox housing is visible on the lower-left of the motor. A gear-shift lever, clutch cable routing, and brake pedal on the right are all there, exactly where your feet expect them. On an otherwise clean EV silhouette, this hardware complexity is the visual tell that separates the AERA from every other electric motorcycle currently on sale in India.
