Matter AERA Colour Options - All Shades Explained
The Matter AERA's colour palette is built for a machine with strong opinions about itself - five distinct shades, all of which suit the AERA's street-fighter silhouette, though access to the full palette requires the 5000+ variant.
Cosmic Black (5000 and 5000+) A deep gloss black that lets the AERA's body lines do the work. The sharp fairing edges, the slim LED headlamp cluster, and the sculpted motor shrouds all read more crisply in black than in lighter shades. Practical benefit: hides road dust and brake residue better than any other option. Best choice if you're undecided.
Cosmic Blue (5000 and 5000+) A saturated metallic blue - vivid but not juvenile. It complements the silver-finish switchgear and the polished alloy wheel spokes particularly well. Popular with riders switching from ICE bikes who want their EV to announce the change without going full neon. The second-safest resale colour after black.
Glacier White (5000+ only) Crisp white over the AERA's angular body sections creates a contrast that reads as expensive - especially against the blacked-out frame and motor housing. The practical trade-off: white surfaces show scratches, brake dust, and chain oil faster than darker shades. Urban commuters who keep their bike in a covered parking spot will cope fine; those parking roadside in dusty conditions may find it high-maintenance.
Blaze Red (5000+ only) The most assertive option in the range. Blaze Red suits every line of the AERA's aggressive stance - narrow headlamp, compact tail, upswept rear end. If you want the bike noticed at an Andheri or Indiranagar signal at 8 AM, this is the one. Strong resale visibility as well.
Nord Grey (5000+ only) The most understated finish in the range. The matte-look grey gives the AERA a premium, considered character - closer to what you'd expect on a European street-fighter than an Indian commuter. Ages gracefully. Photographs exceptionally well and wears minor swirl marks more forgivingly than gloss finishes.

Which colour to pick? If you're buying the AERA 5000, the choice is Cosmic Black or Cosmic Blue - and black is the safer all-round call. If you're on the 5000+, the decision between Blaze Red and Nord Grey essentially comes down to personality: loud and proud versus quiet and assured. Glacier White requires more upkeep than the alternatives but rewards effort with a distinctive, premium look. All five colours are offered at no additional charge - there's no price premium for any shade over another.
