KTM RC 390 Variants and Prices in India (2025)
The KTM RC 390 is available in two variants in India: the Standard and the GP Edition.
RC 390 Standard - Rs 3,22,719 (ex-showroom Delhi) This is the entry point into the RC 390 family and, frankly, the one most buyers will be perfectly happy with. It gets the full electronics suite - traction control, cornering ABS, quickshifter, ride modes, and the 5-inch TFT display. The Standard comes in Orange and Blue, both of which look sharp with the redesigned 2024 bodywork. Mechanically, it is identical to the GP Edition.
RC 390 GP Edition - Rs 3,69,495 (ex-showroom Delhi) The GP Edition costs roughly Rs 47,000 more and the difference is almost entirely cosmetic. You get exclusive GP Edition Blue and GP Edition Orange liveries inspired by KTM's MotoGP efforts - the kind of paint jobs that turn heads in the parking lot. For riders who care about the aesthetic and want the bike to look distinctive, the GP Edition is worth considering. For everyone else, the Standard delivers the exact same performance and electronics at a lower price.
Which variant should you buy? If you plan to track the bike or just want the best performance-per-rupee, go Standard and put the savings towards a good helmet or riding jacket. If you're drawn to the race livery and will keep the bike looking pristine, the GP Edition's paint job genuinely is special. Both variants are covered by KTM's standard warranty and the same service intervals apply.

Across both variants, the on-road price difference between cities is primarily driven by state RTO rates. Karnataka levies one of the higher road taxes, which pushes Bangalore's on-road price noticeably higher than Delhi or Mumbai. If you're buying near a state border, it's worth checking whether registering in a neighbouring state makes financial sense - some buyers in the NCR/Rajasthan border area save Rs 10,000-15,000 this way. EMI for the Standard starts around Rs 7,200/month on a 3-year loan at 10% interest after a typical down payment.
