KTM 390 Adventure X Variants and Prices

The KTM 390 Adventure X comes in two variants for 2025.

KTM 390 Adventure X - Rs 3,26,178 (ex-showroom, Delhi)

The base variant includes everything core to the experience: the 399cc engine with bi-directional quickshifter, WP Apex suspension with 200mm travel front and rear, a 5-inch colour TFT with Bluetooth and turn-by-turn navigation, dual-channel ABS with off-road mode, all-LED lighting, and USB Type-C charging. Available in Electronic Orange and Ceramic White.

KTM 390 Adventure X+ - Rs 3,43,180 (ex-showroom, Delhi)

The X+ adds cruise control - a feature many buyers noticed was missing when comparing against the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. The Rs 17,000 premium over the standard X is easy to justify for anyone planning regular highway stints. Cruise control on a KTM genuinely reduces fatigue on NH runs lasting more than two hours. Both colour options are available on the X+ as well.

Both variants share the same engine, frame, suspension geometry, wheel sizes, and braking hardware. The only functional difference is cruise control - if you ride mostly in cities and for weekend day trips, the standard X is perfectly complete. If touring is on the agenda, the X+ is the one to get.

Note: The Rs 3,26,178 and Rs 3,43,180 figures are ex-showroom prices for Delhi. On-road prices vary by city and state - see the city-specific price pages for a full breakdown including RTO and insurance.

On-road prices add road tax, insurance, and dealer charges on top of ex-showroom. In Delhi, the standard X works out to approximately Rs 3.96 Lakh on-road; in Bangalore, it's around Rs 4.16 Lakh given Karnataka's higher road tax structure. For EMI buyers, the base X at Rs 3.26 Lakh translates to approximately Rs 10,400/month over 36 months at 9% interest. Finance options are generally available at all KTM dealerships, with major banks and NBFCs covering both variants. Always ask for a loan on the ex-showroom amount rather than the on-road total - insuring separately is usually cheaper than the bundled quote from the dealer.

Frequently Asked Questions

QHow many variants does the KTM 390 Adventure X come in?
The KTM 390 Adventure X comes in two variants for 2025 - the standard X at Rs 3,26,178 ex-showroom (Delhi) and the X+ at Rs 3,43,180. The X+ adds cruise control as the sole functional upgrade; all other hardware and features are identical between the two.
QWhat is the difference between the KTM 390 Adventure X and X+?
Cruise control is the only difference - the X+ at Rs 3,43,180 has it, the base X at Rs 3,26,178 does not. Both share the same 399cc engine, WP suspension, 5-inch TFT display, bi-directional quickshifter, dual-channel ABS, and colour options. The Rs 17,000 premium is worth it for regular highway riders.
QWhich KTM 390 Adventure X variant offers the best value for money?
For city commuting and weekend rides, the base X at Rs 3,26,178 is the better value - all core features at a sharper price. For regular highway touring or long-distance riding, the X+ at Rs 3,43,180 is worth the Rs 17,000 premium purely for cruise control, which reduces fatigue meaningfully on runs of 200+ km.
QDoes the KTM 390 Adventure X get dual-channel ABS on all variants?
Yes - dual-channel ABS with an off-road mode is standard on both the 390 Adventure X and X+ variants. Neither variant gets cornering ABS; that feature is exclusive to the standard 390 Adventure at a higher price point.
