KTM 390 Adventure X Colours
The KTM 390 Adventure X is available in two colour options for 2025: Electronic Orange and Ceramic White. Both are available across the standard X and X+ variants at no price difference.
Electronic Orange This is the definitive KTM colour - bold, high-visibility, and unmistakably orange. On the 390 Adventure X, the orange runs across the main fairing panels, tank shrouds, and rear seat cover, paired with black engine and chassis components and white frame elements. It's the kind of colour that makes the bike stand out in traffic on MG Road or at a highway dhaba stop - which has genuine safety benefits, not just aesthetic ones. If you want strangers to walk up and ask about your bike, this is the one. The downside: surface scuffs and dust patches show up more readily on vibrant orange panels. Carry a microfibre.
Ceramic White The white option brings a cleaner, more understated character to the X - premium rather than aggressive. White panels with black and silver accents make the bike look sharper in person than it does in most catalogue photos. Minor surface scuffs are less conspicuous on white than on orange, though deeper scratches will still be visible. White also reflects slightly more heat in direct summer sun, which makes a marginal difference when the bike is parked outdoors in peak May temperatures.
From a resale standpoint, both colours move at similar prices. KTM's brand pull is strong enough that neither colour is a liability in the used market.

From a practical standpoint, Electronic Orange is easier to spot in the rear-view mirrors of cars and trucks - a real advantage on single-lane state highways and mountain passes. Ceramic White photographs better in most conditions and tends to attract a different buyer profile in the used market - slightly older, touring-focused. Neither colour requires special maintenance products beyond standard bike wash soap and a good wax coat every three months. Both are compatible with KTM's official accessories range - crash bars, knuckle guards, panniers - without clashing. At the end of the day, pick the colour that feels right every morning when you see it in your garage. You'll be living with it for years.
