BMW G 310 R Price - Ex-Showroom & On-Road
The BMW G 310 R carries a last official ex-showroom price of Rs 2,85,000 for its single ABS BS6 variant. This made it the most affordable BMW motorcycle in India - below the G 310 GS's Rs 3,30,000 and significantly below every other model in the BMW Motorrad India lineup.
On-road prices in key cities add state road tax, insurance, and dealer handling on top of the ex-showroom base. In Delhi, the on-road total is approximately Rs 3,27,000. RTO in Delhi for a bike in this price band is approximately Rs 23,200 (about 8%), third-party insurance runs approximately Rs 3,500 per year, and most buyers add own-damage cover bringing total insurance to approximately Rs 13,000-16,000. Dealer handling charges add approximately Rs 3,500.
For EMI buyers, a 3-year loan at 10% interest with a 20% down payment (Rs 57,000) on the Delhi on-road price of Rs 3,27,000 results in a monthly EMI of approximately Rs 7,900-8,200. A 5-year tenure reduces this to approximately Rs 5,500-5,900 per month.
BMW Motorrad India offered clearance discounts of up to Rs 50,000 on the G 310 R before its April 2025 discontinuation. Dealers holding remaining unsold inventory may still negotiate. The used market offers the most consistent pricing: clean sub-20,000 km examples typically trade at Rs 1.80-2.40 lakh.

BMW G 310 R On-Road Price — All Cities
The G 310 R's pricing positioned it as the most accessible BMW in India. With the bike now discontinued, used pricing has become the relevant metric. At Rs 1.80-2.20 lakh for a well-maintained example, the G 310 R represents strong value against new 300cc nakeds from Indian brands - particularly given the BMW build quality and long service intervals that keep running costs lower than the purchase price comparison suggests.
