G 310 R Photos

The BMW G 310 R has a clean, purposeful naked design that avoids the overwrought visual complexity of some 300cc rivals. The front end is defined by a distinctive U-shaped LED DRL ring set into a compact headlight housing - one of the more recognisable design signatures in the segment - with the BMW Motorrad logo etched into the headlight lens.

From the side, the trellis frame is partially exposed, which is a traditional naked bike design choice that references the larger BMW S 1000 R. The fuel tank is sculpted with knee cutouts for grip, and the seat-to-tank transition is clean. The exhaust is a single underslung unit that keeps the bike's midsection visually light.

The rear end is minimal - a short tail section, a compact rear light, and no subframe bulk. This gives the G 310 R a lighter visual presence than the G 310 GS at the rear, consistent with its street-focused character.

The instrument cluster is mounted centrally and is a compact LCD unit. It is clearly readable but visually modest - the KTM 390 Duke's TFT screen is more impressive at a glance. The cockpit is otherwise clean and uncluttered.
