BMW F850 GS Colour Options
BMW offered the F850 GS in three colours in India, each reflecting a distinct personality of the adventure motorcycle:
Gravity Blue Metallic
The most visually striking option, Gravity Blue Metallic is a deep metallic blue with a subtle silver flip that reads differently in sunlight versus shade. It is the showroom-stopper - the finish that draws people to the bike before they know anything else about it. The blue communicates premium without being flashy, a good match for the F850 GS's positioning as a serious touring machine. In the used market, Gravity Blue tends to have broad appeal and holds its value well relative to the other options.
Style Rallye
Style Rallye is BMW Motorrad's nod to the GS's rally heritage - a white-dominant livery with blue accent panels inspired by the factory GS race bikes. If Gravity Blue is for road tourers, Style Rallye is for riders who want to signal awareness of the GS's off-road origins. The predominantly white base is practical in Indian conditions: lower heat absorption in summer, and dust shows less starkly on white than on black. Style Rallye holds up the best visually on long dusty rides.
Style Triple Black
A fully blacked-out specification - the fairing, engine covers, and bodywork are presented in black, giving the F850 GS a more understated, urban-adventure character. Style Triple Black appeals to riders who prefer their bike to not announce itself at every traffic light. It is the hardest to keep clean in Indian road conditions and shows dust more readily than the other two options, but the visual effect when freshly washed is genuinely impressive. Popular in cities; slightly less so in the used adventure touring market.
3 colours available

BMW F850 GS available in Style Triple Black colour.
All three colours were available on both the Standard Pro and Adventure variants at no price difference - a welcome policy compared to manufacturers who charge a premium for distinctive shades. In the used market, Style Rallye and Gravity Blue Metallic tend to attract slightly wider buyer pools than Style Triple Black, which can marginally help resale. Colour has minimal impact on running costs - all three finishes use the same paint protection requirements. For daily riding in dusty Indian conditions, lighter shades (Style Rallye) stay presentable longer between washes. All three hold up equally well in garage storage.
