The single-variant lineup keeps the buying decision simple. Compared to the KTM 390 Adventure (Rs 3,80,000-4,45,000 across standard and x variants) and the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 (Rs 2,69,000-3,05,000 across base, Adventure, and Kahuna variants), the F 450 GS is priced approximately Rs 45,000-1,10,000 more than the KTM and Rs 1,85,000-2,21,000 more than the Himalayan 450.

BMW Motorrad does not offer standard exchange or corporate discount programmes on the F 450 GS in India, though individual dealerships may run periodic offers. Year-end clearance (October - December) typically offers the best negotiation window. Accessories - crash guards, panniers, aluminium luggage - are available through BMW Motorrad India but add Rs 50,000-1,50,000 to the on-road cost for a fully equipped touring setup.
