The TVS Ntorq 150 was officially launched in India on September 1, 2025, at a starting price of Rs 1,19,000 ex-showroom for the base variant. TVS positioned it as India's first 150cc hyper-sport scooter and the spiritual successor to the Ntorq 125, which had become a cult product since its 2018 launch.

At launch, the scooter made headlines for packing traction control and dual ride modes at a price point under Rs 1.20 lakh - features that were previously seen only on premium motorcycles costing two to three times as much. The adjustable brake levers, another segment-first, also drew attention from riders who had long asked for ergonomic customisation on scooters.

Prices were subsequently revised downward. By late 2025, the STD variant settled at Rs 1,11,350 and the TFT at Rs 1,20,350 - bringing the entry price further below the original Rs 1,19,000 launch figure and increasing competitive pressure on the Yamaha Aerox 155 and Hero Xoom 160.

Early owner reviews that surfaced in October and November 2025 were largely positive on performance and features, with the main criticisms centred on suspension firmness and the absence of keyless ignition. Several Team-BHP members who bought the scooter at launch noted good real-world mileage figures of 38-45 kmpl, slightly exceeding TVS's ARAI claim under mixed city conditions.

TVS confirmed that the Ntorq 150 is manufactured at their Hosur plant in Tamil Nadu. As of mid-2026, no major updates or new variant announcements have been made.
