TVS Apache RTX Variants and Prices
TVS offers the Apache RTX in four distinct variants, giving buyers a clear step-up ladder from essentials to fully loaded.
Base - Rs 1,99,000 (ex-showroom) The entry point and the one generating the most noise. Even at this price you get the full 299cc RT-XD4 engine, USD forks, a 5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth and Google Maps, four ride modes, switchable ABS, and a bi-directional quickshifter. The Base is genuinely well-equipped - most riders won't feel shortchanged here.
Top - Rs 2,14,058 (ex-showroom) Adds Rs 15,000 over Base and brings in cruise control, switchable traction control, TPMS, and adjustable brake and clutch levers. If you log regular highway miles, cruise control alone justifies the premium on weekend runs from Mumbai to Pune or Bangalore to Coorg.
BTO (Build-To-Order) - Rs 2,34,058 (ex-showroom) The flagship configuration, currently the variant most affected by extended waiting periods given lower production volumes. Adds rally-inspired aesthetics and select factory-fitted accessories over the Top. Suited to buyers who want the full-spec RTX experience or plan to use it as an off-road capable tourer.
20th Anniversary Edition - Rs 2,34,058 (ex-showroom) A special-edition livery celebrating 20 years of the Apache series, first shown at MotoSoul 2025 in a black-and-gold colourway. Mechanically identical to the BTO - changes stop at paint and badging. Collectible appeal for Apache loyalists and long-time TVS fans.
All prices above are ex-showroom. On-road costs vary sharply by state - a Base variant that costs about Rs 2,27,000 on-road in Delhi can cross Rs 2,50,000 in states like Karnataka, where two-wheeler RTO rates run much higher. Factor in insurance (approx Rs 12,000-13,000) and dealer handling fees of around Rs 3,500 on top of RTO.

For most buyers, the Top variant at Rs 2,14,058 is the sweet spot. The Rs 15,000 premium over Base brings cruise control and traction control - genuinely useful on Indian highways and mountain passes. The BTO or 20th Anniversary Edition make sense if you're particular about the look or want factory accessories integrated from day one, but be prepared for a longer wait given limited production. The Base covers everything you need if your riding is predominantly city with occasional weekend runs.
