Triumph Tiger 900 Latest News, Updates and What's Coming
The biggest recent development for the Triumph Tiger 900 in India came in May 2026, when Triumph launched two special editions. The Tiger 900 Alpine Edition arrived at Rs 15.35 Lakh ex-showroom, based on the GT Pro and fitted with an Akrapovic exhaust, engine guards and an exclusive Snowdonia White and Sapphire Black scheme with blue accents - a Rs 95,000 premium over the standard GT. The Tiger 900 Desert Edition landed at Rs 16.05 Lakh, based on the Rally Pro with an Akrapovic silencer, additional protection bars and a grey finish with Baja Orange highlights. Notably, the Desert Edition undercuts the standard Rally Pro by Rs 10,000 while adding equipment.
On pricing, the core range has held steady through 2026 at Rs 14.40 Lakh for the GT and Rs 16.15 Lakh for the Rally Pro. Both are up from the April 2024 launch prices of Rs 13.95 Lakh and Rs 15.95 Lakh following Triumph India's range-wide revision that took effect in January 2026.
Looking further out, a next-generation Tiger 900 has been spotted testing in Europe carrying radar hardware for adaptive cruise control and blind-spot monitoring, along with revised bodywork, a projector headlight and reports of a larger, reworked engine. An EICMA unveiling is expected, with an India launch anticipated in 2027. Nothing about that bike is confirmed yet, so treat it as what it is - a prototype spotted on test, not a product announcement.

What does that mean if you are buying now? If you tour regularly and want a bike this season, the current Tiger 900 is a mature, well-sorted machine and there is no reason to wait - the 2024 generation already fixed the biggest complaints about the older bike with more power, a better seat and improved vibration damping.
If you are not in a hurry and the idea of radar cruise control and a bigger engine appeals, a next-generation model landing in India during 2027 would also mean sharper deals on current-generation stock as dealers clear inventory.
