Triumph Street Triple R Variants & Prices in India 2026
The Triumph Street Triple R is available in two variants in India, both powered by the same 765cc triple-cylinder engine with identical performance specifications. The difference between them is purely cosmetic - the colour option determines the price.
Street Triple 765 R - Phantom Black / Pure White - ₹10,86,300 (ex-showroom) This is the entry variant, available in two colourways at the same price. Phantom Black is the most popular choice among Street Triple R buyers in India - it's stealthy, versatile, and doesn't show road grime between washes. Pure White gives the bike a cleaner, sportier look that photographs beautifully and makes the aggressive body lines pop. Both are priced identically and come with the full feature set.
Street Triple 765 R - Matt Baja Orange - ₹11,16,300 (ex-showroom) The Matt Baja Orange variant commands a ₹30,000 premium over the base colours. It's the most distinctive option in the Street Triple R lineup, and opinion among owners tends to be polarised - those who love it, love it unconditionally. The matte finish requires extra care during washing (avoid abrasive cleaners and automatic car washes). If differentiation matters to you, this is the one.
Both variants share the complete feature set: Brembo M4.32 brakes, bi-directional quickshifter, three riding modes, traction control, wheelie control, cornering ABS, and a TFT display. There is no mechanical or equipment difference between them - you're paying purely for colour.
If you're considering the step up to the RS, it starts at ₹12,92,800 and adds a 130 PS tune, Öhlins rear suspension, and sportier styling. For most street riders, the R's 118.4 bhp is more than sufficient - the RS's extra power only becomes truly relevant on track or wide-open state highways.

Resale value for the Street Triple R has historically been strong in India - Triumph's growing but still limited dealership network means fewer used units in the market, which keeps second-hand prices elevated compared to Japanese rivals. Phantom Black tends to retain slightly better resale value as it appeals to the widest pool of buyers. Matt Baja Orange, while distinctive, can narrow your buyer pool at resale - though enthusiast buyers specifically seeking it often pay premiums. If resale value is a priority, Phantom Black is the safe choice. If you're keeping it for the long haul and the orange speaks to you, it's worth every rupee of the ₹30,000 premium.
