The defining event for the Indian Scout in India was the 2025 model year launch - not a refresh but a complete ground-up redesign. Indian Motorcycle replaced the outgoing 1133cc Scout (discontinued August 2025) with two entirely new engine families and expanded the lineup from a limited set of variants to eight models spanning Rs 12.99-16.15 lakh at launch.
The launch pricing was deliberately aggressive. The Scout Sixty Bobber entered India at Rs 12.99 lakh ex-showroom - making it, at the time, the most affordable American V-twin cruiser available in the country and undercutting the Harley-Davidson Nightster. This was a clear market-share play by Indian to grow dealership traffic and brand awareness in a segment where Harley-Davidson has had near-total dominance.
Since the 2025 launch, prices have been revised upward. As of mid-2026, the Scout Sixty Bobber retails at Rs 13,88,244 and the Scout Classic Standard at Rs 14,98,321 - increases of Rs 88,000-96,000 from launch prices. These revisions are in line with the broader premium motorcycle segment's pricing adjustments over the period.
On the dealer network front, Indian Motorcycle India currently operates six dealerships: Delhi, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Kochi. Reports suggest additional outlets are being planned for Hyderabad, Pune, and Kolkata - though no confirmed launch dates have been announced as of publication.
The Limited+Tech trim, new for 2025, brought a feature set - TFT touchscreen, onboard navigation, keyless ignition, accident alerts, vehicle locator - that was not available on any previous Indian Scout in India. This positions the upper-spec Scout as the technology leader in its price segment.

Indian Motorcycle has confirmed the 2026 Indian Scout Bobber 125th Anniversary Edition, featuring the 101 Scout's 111 bhp engine tuning, classic Indian red livery, and serialised badging marking the brand's 125th year. India pricing and availability have not been officially confirmed.
