Hness CB350 Specifications

The Honda H'ness CB350 is built around a 348.36cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 21.07 PS at 5500 rpm and 30 Nm of torque arriving early at just 3000 rpm. That early torque delivery is one reason the bike feels so tractable in city riding - you don't need to rev it hard to get moving. What truly separates it from Royal Enfield's 349cc J-series engine is Honda's obsessive refinement: the CB350 motor barely vibrates at any rpm, making 80-90 km/h cruising on national highways a genuinely relaxed experience rather than a numbing one.

The five-speed gearbox pairs with an assist and slipper clutch. The assist function makes the clutch lever light enough to pull with two fingers - a genuine quality-of-life advantage in Bengaluru or Mumbai stop-go traffic. The slipper function prevents rear wheel chatter when you downshift aggressively before a corner. One honest caveat: the gearing is set on the tall side. Fifth gear is usable from 60 km/h upward, which is great on highways but means you'll be dropping to third gear more often in city lanes than you'd expect from a 350cc bike.

The suspension is telescopic 41mm forks up front and twin rear shock absorbers - a setup tuned toward comfort. It soaks up broken urban roads and rough state highways effectively, but feels slightly underdamped if you're pushing hard through ghat sections. The 19-inch front and 18-inch rear alloy wheels (spoked-style cast, tubeless) contribute to the stable highway feel.

Braking is handled by a 310mm disc at the front (2-piston caliper) and a 240mm disc at the rear (single-piston), both backed by switchable dual-channel ABS. Honda's Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) adds traction management - useful on wet roads. Both ABS and HSTC can be individually switched off for off-road use. At 181 kg kerb weight with a 800mm seat height, the H'ness is one of the more accessible bikes in the segment for shorter riders.
