2025: OBD-2B Engine Update & New Colours Honda updated the entire CB350 lineup - CB350, CB350RS, and H'ness CB350 - in early 2025 to comply with OBD-2B (On-Board Diagnostics stage 2B) emissions regulations and E20 fuel compatibility requirements. The update was mandated by the Indian government's tightening emissions timeline. Engine output figures remain unchanged at 21.07 PS and 30 Nm. Alongside the compliance update, Honda introduced four new colours: Pearl Igneous Black, Pearl Deep Ground Grey, Rebel Red Metallic, and Athletic Blue Metallic, replacing older shades.
Late 2025: Price Reduction Following GST 2.0 India's GST rate rationalisation in September 2025 triggered a significant price revision for the H'ness CB350. Honda reduced prices by approximately Rs 16,000-17,000 across the range. The base DLX variant dropped from Rs 2,10,500 to Rs 1,92,700 - a move that substantially improved its value proposition against the Royal Enfield Classic 350.
2024: Speed Sensor Recall (Oct 2020 - Apr 2024 Units) Honda issued a safety recall covering H'ness CB350 units manufactured between October 2020 and April 2024. The root cause: improper moulding of the speed sensor housing allowed water ingress, leading to incorrect speedometer readings and unreliable ABS and traction control operation. Honda replaced affected sensors at no cost. If you own a bike from this manufacturing window and haven't had it addressed, contact your nearest BigWing service centre.
2024: Camshaft Manufacturing Recall (Jun - Jul 2024 Units) A separate recall covered bikes manufactured in June - July 2024 due to an improper manufacturing process for the camshaft. Affected units were repaired or replaced at no cost under the recall programme.

Honda announced a Special Edition variant of the H'ness CB350 at the BigWing Ride event in Bengaluru on April 19, 2026, featuring a new Metallic Maroon paint scheme with gold pinstripes and Special Edition tank badging, priced at approximately Rs 2.12-2.15 lakh (ex-showroom). Mechanically the bike remains unchanged, retaining the 348.36cc engine producing 21 PS and 30 Nm.
A new Metallic Maroon colour scheme with golden pinstripes for the Honda H'ness CB350 was leaked via a Honda BigWing dealership's Instagram post on April 18, 2026, ahead of an expected Special Edition announcement. The leaked images showed Special Edition badging on the fuel tank alongside chrome-finished fenders.
Honda's development pattern for the CB350 platform has been iterative - annual colour and compliance refreshes rather than major mechanical overhauls. A significant update or next-generation model is not expected before 2027. However, industry sources suggest Honda is developing a liquid-cooled variant of the CB350 platform that would deliver more power for the touring segment - a response to the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 and Triumph Speed 400 attracting buyers who've outgrown 21 PS.
