Honda Dio 125 Full Specifications (2026)
The Honda Dio 125 runs a 123.92 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled PGM-Fi engine that is OBD-2B compliant as of the 2025 update. Peak power is 8.30 PS at 6500 rpm and peak torque is 10.5 Nm at 5000 rpm - figures that place it on par with the Suzuki Avenis 125 but below the TVS NTorq 125's 9.25 PS. In everyday use, that gap matters less than you'd think. The engine revs smoothly, doesn't buzz through the handlebar at city speeds, and the CVT gearbox is seamless.
Honda claims 48 kmpl ARAI mileage. Real-world numbers in stop-go city traffic typically land between 44-47 kmpl, which is solid for a 125 cc scooter. The 5.3-litre fuel tank gives a practical range of around 240-250 km before you need to stop.
The Dio 125 tips the scales at 105 kg - lighter than the NTorq 125 at 118 kg - which makes it nimble through tight city lanes. Ground clearance is 171 mm, which handles broken roads and speed bumps without scraping. Seat height is 708 mm, accessible for most riders.
Braking is handled by a 190 mm front disc and a 130 mm rear drum with CBS (Combined Braking System). The front disc bites well; the CBS prevents rear wheel lockup in panic stops. Tyres are 90/90-12 front and 90/100-10 rear, both tubeless alloy-mounted. The 12-inch front wheel is a stability advantage over bikes with 10-inch front hoops.
Suspension is telescopic forks up front and a 3-step adjustable spring-loaded monoshock at the rear - the adjustability is a useful touch for heavier riders or two-up riding.
