February 2026 - X-Edition Launched Honda launched the Dio 125 X-Edition in India in February 2026, adding a sporty cosmetic variant to the lineup. The X-Edition features distinctive orange-painted alloy wheels and X-Edition-specific graphics, while remaining mechanically identical to the STD variant. It is priced at Rs 87,883 ex-showroom Delhi - just Rs 625 more than the STD.
April 2025-2025 Dio 125 OBD-2B Update Honda significantly updated the Dio 125 in April 2025 to comply with OBD-2B emission norms. Along with the regulatory update, Honda introduced a 4.2-inch TFT instrument cluster on the H-Smart variant with Honda RoadSync Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation support, call and message alerts, and a USB Type-C charging port. The 2025 update also brought revised pricing - the DLX (now called STD) was priced at Rs 96,749 and the H-Smart at Rs 1,02,144 ex-showroom Pune at launch.
July 2023 - Original Dio 125 Launch Honda launched the Dio 125 in India in July 2023 at Rs 83,400 (Standard) and Rs 91,300 (Smart), positioning it as a 125cc sporty scooter to take on the TVS NTorq 125 and Suzuki Avenis 125. The launch was well-received for the scooter's design and Honda reliability, though some reviewers noted the pricing was aggressive compared to the NTorq.

Honda launched the Dio 125 X-Edition in India on February 5, 2026 at Rs 87,733 ex-showroom Delhi - Rs 625 more than the STD variant. The X-Edition adds orange-painted alloy wheels, dual-tone Pearl Siren Blue / Pearl Deep Ground Grey livery with X-Edition-specific graphics, while remaining mechanically identical to the STD with the same 123.92 cc engine.
