Honda CB750 Hornet Latest News and Updates in India
May 2025 - India Launch: Honda officially launched the CB750 Hornet in India on May 23, 2025, priced at Rs 8,59,500 (ex-showroom, Gurugram). The launch was held simultaneously with the CB1000 Hornet SP (Rs 12,35,900). Both bikes are sold exclusively through Honda BigWing Topline dealerships. Deliveries commenced from June 2025, with the first units reaching owners across metro cities.
2026 Model Year - E-Clutch Incoming: Honda has confirmed that the 2026 model year CB750 Hornet will be equipped with Honda's E-Clutch system. The E-Clutch pairs with the throttle-by-wire system to automatically blip the throttle for rev-matched downshifts, and allows clutchless upshifts - all without removing the traditional clutch lever. This makes the CB750 Hornet one of the most accessible 750cc bikes in the world for newer riders. The 2026 update is expected to bring a modest price revision when it arrives in India.
Accessories and Customisation: Honda has been gradually expanding the official accessories catalogue for BigWing bikes, including crash guards, tank pads, seat cowls and USB charging additions. Early owners have reported that factory crash protection is not included and is recommended as an early purchase.
Service Network Expansion: Honda is actively expanding BigWing Topline presence across tier-2 cities. Owners outside metros should check current BigWing locations before finalising purchase.
