CB750 Hornet Colours

Honda offers the CB750 Hornet in two colour options in India - Matte Pearl Glare White and Matte Ballistic Black Metallic - both at the same price.

Matte Pearl Glare White is the more distinctive of the two. The white matte finish contrasts sharply with the black frame, engine covers and exhaust headers, creating a high-contrast look that turns heads. It photographs exceptionally well and gives the bike a premium, almost concept-bike appearance. The white colour tends to show scratches and road grime more visibly, so it demands slightly more care in maintenance. That said, several early owners in India specifically sought out this colour - one owner in Mumbai noted that their white CB750 Hornet was the first one delivered in that colour in the city.

Matte Ballistic Black Metallic plays it straight. The deep matte black finish is stealthy and sophisticated, concealing road grime better than white and presenting a more understated profile. For daily commuters in traffic-heavy cities, this is the more practical choice. It also tends to age more gracefully - matte black rarely looks dated.

Both colours use a matte finish throughout, consistent with the CB750 Hornet's premium European styling DNA. The matte surfaces require dedicated matte-finish cleaners and should not be polished with conventional wax or ceramic coatings not rated for matte paint.
