Hero Super Splendor Xtec Photos & Images
The Hero Super Splendor Xtec updates the classic Splendor silhouette without abandoning it. From the side, the familiar oval fuel tank and slightly tapered tail section maintain continuity with the Splendor family lineage. Chrome accents on the engine casing and exhaust tip are understated but finished well for the price bracket. The overall proportions are compact - a short wheelbase and upright riding position make it read as an urban commuter, which is precisely what it is.
The front end is the most visible change from the standard Super Splendor. The LED headlight unit is noticeably wider than the older halogen setup, with an integrated LED DRL strip that wraps across the top of the lamp housing. At night, the DRL makes the bike far more visible to oncoming traffic. The light output from the LED main beam is a meaningful improvement over halogen - roads are lit further ahead and with better spread.
The digital LCD instrument cluster sits at the top of the instrument pod, angled toward the rider. Speed is displayed prominently in the centre; fuel level, odometer, trip meters, and a Bluetooth connection indicator are arranged around it in smaller cells. The screen is readable in direct sunlight, which is not a given on LCD displays at this price. A small notification icon appears when a call or SMS arrives, visible while riding.
On the Disc variant, the 240 mm front disc rotor with calliper is visible through the wheel - it gives the front end a noticeably more premium look compared to the drum setup and is a quick visual identifier between variants.
From the rear, the tail light is a conventional halogen unit - the one area that has not been updated to LED. The seat is wide and flat, with padding depth that is adequate for a commuter. The twin rear shocks with visible spring coils are a traditional look that fits the Super Splendor aesthetic.

In real-world photos and video reviews, the Super Splendor Xtec reads as compact and proportionally suited to urban use - it does not try to look like more than it is. The matt colour options photograph better in natural outdoor light than in studio conditions; the gloss shades perform better in controlled studio photography.
