Harley-Davidson Street Glide - Latest News, Updates & Launches in India
The Harley-Davidson Street Glide's India story in 2025-26 has been defined by a significant generational update. The current Street Glide - on sale in India at Rs 42.50 Lakh - is powered by the Milwaukee-Eight 117 engine (1923cc), a step up from the older Milwaukee-Eight 114 that it replaced. The new engine delivers approximately 14% more horsepower and over 7% more torque than its predecessor, while also meeting BS6 Phase 2 emissions norms.
The 12.3-inch TFT touchscreen running Harley's Skyline OS is the most significant tech upgrade the Street Glide has received. Apple CarPlay integration, Bluetooth audio streaming, turn-by-turn navigation, and vehicle status displays are all controlled through this interface. It is responsive and logically organised - one of the better infotainment implementations in a touring motorcycle globally.
For 2026, Harley-Davidson unveiled the Street Glide Limited - a higher-specification variant that builds on the current Street Glide with additional comfort and tech features. India availability and pricing for the Limited had not been announced at the time of writing; check with your nearest Harley-Davidson dealer for updates.
Harley-Davidson India operates through a partnership with Hero MotoCorp, which manages the distribution and service network. This has expanded the dealership footprint significantly compared to the pre-partnership era, making servicing and parts availability more practical for touring riders who cover long distances across states.
