XDiavel Colours

The Ducati XDiavel kept its palette deliberately restrained - dark, aggressive, and purposeful. Unlike many motorcycles that offer bright or two-tone options, Ducati positioned the XDiavel as a night-time predator, and the colour choices reflected that.

Dark Stealth (XDiavel Dark) A deep, matte-inflected black treatment across the bodywork, with blacked-out engine covers, exhaust, and frame detailing. The Dark variant's moody aesthetic is what many consider the definitive XDiavel look - minimal chrome, maximum menace. Under India's bright sunlight, the satin black finish catches light subtly without screaming for attention the way a polished finish would.

Black Star (XDiavel Black Star) The premium variant adds a distinctive Black Star graphic package - a dark base with specific Ducati heritage-referencing livery elements. It's more collector-oriented and has a visual weight that stands out even within the XDiavel range. Ducati added red Ducati lettering accents that pop against the dark base.

Both colours are single-stage paint jobs with no dual-tone elements - consistent with Ducati's design language for the XDiavel, which was always meant to look like a single, monolithic shape rather than a patchwork of panels. Maintaining the finish on the Dark Stealth in Indian conditions (dust, rain, minor scratches) is relatively forgiving given the matte-adjacent treatment.
