Monster Specifications

The Ducati Monster 937 is built around the Testastretta 11° V2 - a 937cc liquid-cooled L-twin with desmodromic valve actuation, the technology Ducati has used in racing for decades. It produces 111 hp at 9,250 rpm and 93 Nm at 6,500 rpm through a 6-speed gearbox with a bidirectional quickshifter as standard.

Engine displacement sits at 937cc, making it a true middleweight despite the premium positioning. The bore and stroke is 94mm × 67.5mm, and the compression ratio is 13:1 - which explains both the sharp throttle response and the heat output.

On the chassis side, the Monster uses a steel trellis frame with a cast aluminium rear subframe - the same architecture Ducati has used for generations, refined continuously. Suspension is a non-adjustable 43mm Showa USD fork up front and a fully adjustable (preload only on Standard) Sachs monoshock at the rear. Wheelbase is 1,474mm.

Braking is where the Monster truly stands apart. Brembo M4.32 radial monobloc 4-piston calipers clamp dual 320mm semi-floating front discs, with a 245mm rear disc managed by a 2-piston Brembo calliper. Cornering ABS with a 6-axis IMU is standard across all variants - a system sophisticated enough to modulate braking mid-corner.

The electronics package includes Ducati Traction Control (DTC) with 8 levels, Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC) with 3 levels, Launch Control, and 3 riding modes: Sport, Urban, and Touring - each remapping throttle response, traction control sensitivity, and engine braking. The 4.3-inch TFT dashboard displays it all clearly, day or night.
