Ducati DesertX Available Colours in India 2025
The Ducati DesertX is offered in four colour options in India, each inspired by Ducati's motorsport heritage and the Paris-Dakar rally roots of the DesertX concept.
Star White Silk - The cleanest, most versatile option. The white finish looks premium and hides trail dust reasonably well. Best resale value as white is universally popular in the Indian market.
Ducati Red - RR22 Livery - The iconic Ducati red with race-inspired number board graphics referencing the 1990s factory rally machines. This is the most recognisable Ducati colourway and the one that draws the most attention at fuel stops.
Iron Giant Livery - A sand-beige and grey combination with bold race number graphics. Subtle but distinctive, and the earthy tones feel appropriate for an adventure bike. Particularly popular with riders who take the DesertX off-road regularly.
Desert Livery (Rally variant) - Available exclusively on the DesertX Rally, this yellow-and-white combination references the Cagiva Elefant factory Paris-Dakar livery. If you're buying the Rally, this is the colour to get.
All colours are available across the STD and Discovery variants except the Desert Livery, which is Rally-exclusive. Ducati applies high-quality paint with UV-resistant clear coats - minor scratches from trail riding are inevitable on any adventure bike, but the DesertX's finish holds up well to the elements.

When choosing a colour, consider resale practicality alongside personal preference. White and red tend to hold value better in the Indian used-bike market. The Iron Giant and Desert Liveries look exceptional in person but may have a smaller buyer pool when you eventually upgrade. All colours carry the same ex-showroom price - there is no colour premium on the Ducati DesertX. Touch-up paint kits are available through Ducati authorised accessories.
