CFMoto 650NK Latest News and Updates
The CFMoto 650NK's India story began with promise and ended with a cautionary lesson about the importance of after-sales infrastructure. Launched in July 2019 as part of CFMoto's ambitious Indian debut alongside the 650MT, 650GT, and 300NK, the 650NK represented the first time a genuine 649cc parallel-twin naked was available in India for under Rs 4 lakh. CFMoto initially sold the bikes through 5 dealerships in Bangalore, Chennai, Thane, Coimbatore, and Hyderabad - a deliberately limited but focused launch.
The BS4 version was discontinued in April 2020, and the BS6 650NK relaunched in June 2021 at Rs 4,29,000. The BS6 relaunch maintained the same limited dealership footprint, which remained the primary obstacle to wider adoption despite the competitive pricing.
As of May 2026, CFMoto has not launched a replacement or successor model to the 650NK in India. The brand's current India strategy appears focused on different segments. The 650NK platform lives on internationally in multiple markets under various body configurations.
For the used 650NK community, the most relevant current development is the availability of spare parts: CFMoto India's authorised dealerships continue to stock consumable items (filters, brake pads, tyres), but availability of major mechanical components (engine internals, suspension components) requires advance ordering and may take 2-4 weeks through official channels.
Official Updates (4)
As of May 2026, CFMoto India has no actively sold motorcycles in the market - the 650NK, 650MT, and 650GT are all discontinued, the 300NK was withdrawn, and the 450MT re-entry has been paused - making CFMoto effectively absent from the Indian new-bike market with no confirmed relaunch timeline.
CFMoto's planned re-entry into India via the 450MT adventure motorcycle has been put on hold indefinitely as of April 2026; CFMoto Global confirmed 'planning and operational activities for CFMOTO are on hold' and stated that launching solely with the 450MT would not sufficiently support their re-entry, with a team to be sent to India for market evaluation before committing further.
CFMoto globally revealed the 2026 675NK - a successor to the 650NK platform - powered by a brand-new 675cc three-cylinder engine, priced at $7,499 in the US; no India launch has been announced, but the reveal signals CFMoto moving the NK naked line to a triple-cylinder architecture.
CFMoto India announced clearance discounts of Rs 1 lakh on the 650NK and 650MT on January 30, 2025 - reducing the 650NK's effective ex-showroom price from Rs 4,29,000 to Rs 3,29,000 for remaining stock; the offer ran until stocks lasted, effectively marking the end of new 650NK availability at authorised dealerships.
CFMoto continues operations in India with a limited lineup, but the 650NK has not been replaced. Enthusiasts tracking CFMoto's global portfolio note that newer models with updated styling and electronics have been shown at international motor shows - whether any of these reach India remains unconfirmed. For 650NK owners, the current practical focus is maintaining relationships with the authorised service network for parts continuity, and building awareness within the Indian parallel-import parts community that has developed around the platform.
