The Yezdi Roadster is powered by a 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled DOHC engine - the 'Alpha 2' unit introduced with the 2025 refresh. It makes 29.1 PS at 7,500 rpm and 29.63 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm, putting it well ahead of the Royal Enfield Meteor 350's 20.2 bhp in outright power. A six-speed constant-mesh gearbox with an assist-and-slipper clutch handles delivery; the slipper function prevents rear-wheel hop on aggressive downshifts - a genuine safety feature at this price point.

Fuel injection keeps throttle response consistent across temperatures, important for Chennai's summer heat or Mumbai monsoon traffic, and the ARAI-claimed mileage of 29.06 kmpl is competitive for a liquid-cooled unit of this output. Real-world owners consistently report 25-30 kmpl depending on riding style and load.

The double-cradle steel frame carries 41mm telescopic forks up front and twin gas-charged rear shock absorbers with five-step preload adjustment. Ground clearance is 171mm - sufficient for most Indian road conditions - and the 1,440mm wheelbase keeps the bike stable at highway speeds.
