TVS Raider 125 Latest News - Launches, Updates & Changes
The TVS Raider 125 has seen significant updates since its 2021 launch, with TVS steadily adding features and variants to keep it competitive at the top of the 125cc segment.
October 2025-2025 TVS Raider 125 Launched with Dual Disc Variants TVS launched two new top-spec variants - the SXC DD and TFT DD - bringing India's first rear disc brake in the 125cc segment. Both variants feature a 240mm front disc and a 200mm rear disc with single-channel ABS, wider 90/90-17 and 110/80-17 tyres, the Follow Me Headlamp function, SmartXonnect Bluetooth, and a new dual-tone Red & Metallic Silver colour with contrasting alloy wheel colours. The SXC DD launched at ₹93,800 and the TFT DD at ₹95,600 (prices at launch).
October 2024 - iGO Variant Launched at ₹98,389 TVS introduced the Raider 125 iGO with Boost Mode - a segment-first feature providing an additional 0.55 Nm of torque and approximately 10% better claimed mileage through an enhanced iGO stop-start system. The iGO variant launched exclusively in Nardo Grey.
August 2025 - Marvel Super Squad Edition Expanded TVS added Deadpool and Wolverine-themed colour schemes to the existing Iron Man and Black Panther options under the Marvel Super Squad Edition, making it the widest Marvel-themed vehicle range in India.
2021 - Original Launch The TVS Raider 125 launched as India's first connected 125cc motorcycle with SmartXonnect technology, dual riding modes, and an LED headlamp - features unheard of at the sub-₹1 lakh price point at the time.

TVS Raider 125 crossed 1.9 million cumulative units (19,07,277 units) since its September 2021 launch through end-March 2026, with FY2026 dispatches of 4.27 lakh units marking a 7% YoY recovery; the Raider now holds a 12% share in the 110-125cc segment.
TVS launched the 2026 Raider 125 on April 23, upgrading the flagship TFT DD variant with a full-colour TFT display (replacing the reverse LCD) supporting 99+ SmartXonnect features, and adding three new colour options - Nitro Green and Metallic Blue for SXC DD and TFT DD variants, and Mercury Grey for Drum and Single Seat variants.
TVS revised Raider 125 prices across all variants alongside the 2026 model update on April 23, with hikes of Rs 60 - Rs 1,500; the base Drum variant now starts at Rs 82,860 and the top TFT DD is priced at Rs 98,550 ex-showroom (Delhi).
TVS has maintained a consistent update cadence for the Raider 125, typically releasing new variants or colour options once or twice a year. Buyers who can wait should look out for the next update cycle, traditionally timed around the October - November festive season when TVS launches new products with introductory pricing.
