Street Triple RS Specifications

The Triumph Street Triple RS is powered by a 765cc liquid-cooled DOHC inline-triple cylinder engine that produces 130 PS at 12,000 rpm and 80 Nm of torque at 9,500 rpm. This is the most powerful engine in the middleweight naked segment in India, and it is paired with a 6-speed gearbox featuring a bidirectional quickshifter as standard.

On the chassis front, the RS uses a twin-spar aluminium frame that keeps the kerb weight down to 188 kg - impressively light for a motorcycle with this much hardware. The suspension setup is genuinely premium: Showa 41mm upside-down big-piston forks (BPF) at the front and an Öhlins STX40 piggyback reservoir monoshock at the rear with full adjustability for preload, compression, and rebound damping.

Braking is handled by twin 310mm floating discs gripped by Brembo Stylema four-piston radial monobloc calipers up front, and a 220mm disc at the rear. Dual-channel ABS with cornering sensitivity comes standard, which means the ABS can account for the motorcycle's lean angle when activating - the same technology you'd find on flagship superbikes.

The fuel tank holds 15 litres, and the ARAI-rated mileage figure is 19.2 kmpl (real-world figures from owners run 15-18 kmpl in mixed use). Seat height is 826 mm, and the wheelbase is 1,402 mm. The bike rolls on Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP tyres - 120/70-ZR17 front and 180/55-ZR17 rear - which are semi-slick tyre technology brought to a road-legal package.
