Triumph Bonneville T100 Full Specifications
The Triumph Bonneville T100 is powered by a 900cc liquid-cooled, 8-valve SOHC parallel-twin engine with a 270-degree firing order - the same crank angle responsible for the signature loping exhaust note that makes this bike so identifiable in traffic. Maximum power is 65 PS at 7,400 rpm and peak torque is 80 Nm at just 3,750 rpm, which means practically all the pulling power is available from the moment you open the throttle in city riding.
Despite the 900cc displacement, Triumph claims an ARAI-certified mileage of 24.39 kmpl. Real-world reports from Indian owners consistently range between 24 and 26 kmpl on highways, dropping to around 20 kmpl in heavy city traffic - commendable for a 228 kg machine in this segment.
The chassis uses a tubular steel double-cradle frame with 41 mm Showa telescopic forks at the front and twin Kayaba rear shocks. Stopping power comes from a 310 mm front disc with a Brembo caliper and a 255 mm rear disc, both managed by Nissin dual-channel ABS. Switchable traction control is standard.
Seat height is 790 mm - accessible even for riders of average height - and the fuel tank holds 14.5 litres, giving a realistic touring range of around 330-350 km per fill. Kerb weight is 228 kg, which feels heavier than it sounds at car-park speeds but becomes manageable once moving. Tyres are a 100/90-18 front and 150/70-17 rear, both tubeless radials mounted on spoke wheels.

The Bonneville T100 ships with a full electronics suite including dual-channel ABS, switchable traction control, a torque-assist clutch for lighter lever effort, and an immobiliser. Notably absent are ride modes, heated grips, and LED DRLs - these remain extra-cost accessories from Triumph's extensive genuine accessories catalogue. For a bike at this price point, the omissions feel deliberate: Triumph keeps the T100 analogue and uncluttered by design.
