The 2026 KTM 390 Adventure is built around a 349.32cc single-cylinder DOHC liquid-cooled engine making 40.93 bhp at 8,600 rpm and 33.5 Nm of peak torque at 7,000 rpm. The motor meets BS6 Phase 2B norms and drives through a 6-speed gearbox with an assist-and-slipper clutch. A bidirectional quickshifter is standard - a segment-first at this price point.
Suspension & Chassis The front gets 43mm USD forks with 200 mm of travel; the rear runs a preload-adjustable monoshock with 205 mm travel. Compared to the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, the KTM 390 Adventure is 15 kg lighter (181 kg vs 196 kg) and makes slightly more peak power.
