Keeway V302C — Overview
A V-twin engine under Rs 4.25 lakh - that's the one-line case for the Keeway V302C. The 298cc, liquid-cooled V-twin with belt final drive is genuinely exotic in the 300cc cruiser world, where Royal Enfield and Yezdi run single-cylinder motors. At Rs 4.22 lakh (ex-showroom), the V302C turns heads for all the right reasons: it looks and sounds like a bike that costs twice as much, and the 690 mm seat height means even shorter riders can flat-foot it with ease. The tradeoffs are real - Keeway's service network is thin, the suspension is firm enough to remind you of every pothole, and the single-seat setup offers the pillion exactly zero comfort. But if exclusivity and a burbling V-twin pulse are what you're after, nothing else in this budget comes close.
Keeway V302C Latest Updates
View allKeeway launched the MY2026 V302C on April 28, 2026, adding a new Yellow colour option to the existing Glossy Black and Glossy Red lineup. The ex-showroom price remains unchanged at Rs 4.22 lakh, with no mechanical updates or feature changes.
What We Like
- V-twin engine at Rs 4.22 lakh - rare and exotic in the Indian 300cc cruiser segment
- Head-turning neo-retro bobber design regularly mistaken for a 650cc or larger cruiser
- Low 690 mm seat height - shorter riders can flat-foot without drama
- Belt drive means less maintenance and noticeably smoother, quieter power delivery
What Could Be Better
- Stiff, short-travel suspension (120 mm front / 42 mm rear) - bad roads are genuinely punishing
- Very limited Keeway service network across India - after-sales support is a real concern outside major cities
- Single scooped seat with near-zero pillion comfort - strictly a solo machine
Editor's Verdict
Should You Buy the Keeway V302C?
The Keeway V302C is a niche buy that rewards the right rider. If you want a solo weekend cruiser with a real V-twin pulse, showstopper looks, and you live near a Keeway dealer - it is hard to beat at this price. If you need a pillion-friendly, go-anywhere motorcycle with a strong service network, the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 or Yezdi Roadster are the more practical choices.
