The Kawasaki Z650RS is one of the most photogenic motorcycles in its segment, and the 2026 Metallic Ocean Blue variant is arguably its best-looking version yet. The design language draws heavily from the 1972 Kawasaki Z1 - the round headlamp, teardrop fuel tank, stepped dual seat, and chrome-trimmed side panels are all deliberate callbacks to that landmark motorcycle.

Front-on, the round LED headlamp flanked by dual pilot lamps gives the Z650RS a confident, symmetrical face that immediately stands out in a segment dominated by aggressive naked bike styling. The circular instrument pod above the headlamp houses a fully digital display but maintains the retro silhouette. The trellis frame is intentionally exposed - no plastic covers hide the engineering - and this gives the bike an honest, structural look that photographs beautifully.

In profile, the gently stepped seat line, round engine covers, and upswept exhaust complete the classic silhouette. The 2026 model's brushed metal side panel inserts catch light differently throughout the day, and the deep Metallic Ocean Blue paint shifts from cobalt to teal in different lighting conditions. Kawasaki has fitted a short, upswept dual exhaust that hints at performance without being overtly aggressive - appropriate for the retro theme.

Rear-on, the round tail lamp and slim rear cowl keep the classic proportions intact. The bike looks light and nimble from the rear despite its 192 kg kerb weight. The 160/60-17 rear tyre sits well within the bodywork without looking undersized.
