Latest Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4R News in India
The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4R has seen two price revisions since its September 2023 India launch at Rs 8.49 lakh. The 2025 model year was launched at Rs 8.79 lakh, a Rs 30,000 increase. In September 2025, prices rose again to Rs 9.40 lakh following GST restructuring - a total increase of Rs 91,000 over two years.
In 2025, Kawasaki India periodically offered Rs 40,000 discount vouchers on the ZX-4R, effectively bringing the price down to Rs 9.00 lakh ex-showroom. Check with your local Kawasaki authorised dealer for any current promotions.
The 2025 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR was launched in India at Rs 9.42 lakh ex-showroom - Rs 2,000 more than the standard ZX-4R. It adds Showa SFF-BP forks, a Showa BFRC Lite monoshock (ZX-10R spec), a bi-directional quickshifter, and the Lime Green / White / Black colour option. The ZX-4RR is currently available alongside the base ZX-4R.
The ZX-4R has also been in the news for its tyre life concerns - multiple owners on Team-BHP and social media report front and rear tyre replacement within 4,500 km under spirited riding. Kawasaki India recommends using only Bridgestone Battlax or Dunlop SportMax replacements to maintain handling balance.
