Matte black as a finish requires specific care. It cannot be polished like gloss paint, and micro-scratches show up differently in light. Jawa recommends matte-specific detailing products; a ceramic coating applied at purchase can help protect the finish long-term. The upside: scuffs on matte surfaces are often less visually jarring than on gloss finishes, since light doesn't reflect uniformly off the surface.

From a resale perspective, the Stealth Black actually works in the Perak's favour - it's the only available colour, so there's no 'unpopular' shade in the used market.
