The Husqvarna Svartpilen 250 is offered in two colour options - Dark Grey and Black Blue Moonshine. True to Husqvarna's minimalist Scandinavian design language, neither colour is loud or attention-seeking in the traditional sense; the bike announces itself through its silhouette rather than its paint.

Dark Grey is the more popular of the two options among Indian buyers. The matte-like charcoal finish across the fuel tank and minimalist bodywork pairs cleanly with the exposed steel trellis frame and the black engine casing. It photographs exceptionally well and holds up better to the minor scuffs of daily commuting than lighter finishes.

Black Blue Moonshine is the more striking option, combining a deep matte black base with subtle blue-tinted accents and the iconic Husqvarna blue-white panel on the tank. Under direct sunlight, the blue shift becomes visible and makes the bike look genuinely premium. This is the colour that tends to draw the most attention at red lights.

Both colours are available on the single STD variant. Neither option commands a price premium. In terms of ownership, the dark tones on both finishes are forgiving with dust and light dirt - useful for a scrambler that may see the occasional loose road or open trail.

Husqvarna's brand identity on both colour options is restrained: the Swedish flag motif appears subtly on the frame, and the logo on the tank is small and understated compared to the aggressive graphics of rivals. This restraint is either the best thing about the design or slightly too low-key depending on your taste - owners consistently rate the overall aesthetic as one of the best in the 250 cc segment.
