The Honda X-ADV 750's India story played out in under a year. Here is the complete timeline:
May 21, 2025 - Official India Launch. Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) officially launched the X-ADV 750 at Rs11.90 lakh ex-showroom (Gurugram). The bike went on sale exclusively through BigWing premium dealerships. Two colours - Graphite Black and Pearl Glare White - were offered. Bookings opened on the same day via HondaBigWing.in and at select dealerships.
June 24, 2025 - Deliveries Begin. HMSI confirmed that customer deliveries had commenced in cities where the X-ADV was stocked. At launch, BigWing outlets in tier-1 cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Pune were the primary delivery points. Waiting periods were short given the limited import lot.
July - December 2025 - First Owner Reports. Indian media and owners published first impressions and short-term reviews through the second half of 2025. Overall reception was positive on the riding experience; the most common criticisms centred on the price-to-practicality ratio in heavy city traffic and the small fuel tank relative to touring ambitions.
April 6, 2026 - Discontinuation Confirmed. Honda India confirmed the X-ADV 750 as discontinued, with no announcement of a follow-up model or second import batch. The most cited reason was the exhaustion of the initially allocated CBU units. No locally assembled successor has been announced as of May 2026.
As of the time of writing (May 2026), no new Honda adventure maxi-scooter is confirmed for India. The X-ADV's international 2026 model - revealed with DCT refinements for smoother low-speed starts - has not been announced for India.

The Honda X-ADV's rapid discontinuation is not unique in India's premium big-bike segment - CBU imports are typically limited lots, and demand for sub-Rs15 lakh adventure machines far outpaces supply. Buyers seeking a similar product should monitor Honda BigWing's announcements for any future adventure-oriented scooter. In the meantime, the XL750 Transalp - launched around the same time, also through BigWing - remains in production and offers a comparable adventure-positioning at a similar price point if two-wheel practicality in the ADV segment is the goal.
