Honda Transalp XL750 News & Updates
June 2025-2025 Model Officially Launched in India Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) launched the 2025 XL750 Transalp in June 2025 at Rs 10,99,990 ex-showroom - the same price as the 2024 model. Key changes for 2025 include the new twin-LED headlight with Africa Twin-inspired DRL signature, a revised windscreen in eco-friendly Durabio plastic, and significantly improved Showa suspension tuning. Honda also added the 5-inch TFT display with optical bonding and Honda RoadSync smartphone connectivity as standard.
Price Cut Before 2026 Update Ahead of the anticipated 2026 model year update, Honda reduced the Transalp's price by Rs 80,000 to clear existing 2025 stock. If you are shopping near this transition period, ask your BigWing dealer about clearance pricing on in-stock units - the deal can be meaningful.
2026 Update - E-Clutch Coming Honda has confirmed the 2026 Honda Transalp XL750 will be available with the Honda E-Clutch as standard - the same automated clutch system that has earned strong reviews on the CB750 Hornet. The E-Clutch allows clutchless gear changes (both up and down) without a quick-shifter mechanism, making it genuinely useful in dense city traffic and on technical trails where your left hand has other things to worry about.
Long-Term Reliability Data Team-BHP's community has documented multiple high-mileage Transalp ownership accounts - the most cited being a 16,000 km / 12-month update from Chennai with zero mechanical failures. Autocar India's long-term test also returned strong reliability scores through 9,000 km of mixed-use running.

The 2026 Honda XL750 Transalp was unveiled at EICMA 2025 (November 2025) with Honda E-Clutch as standard equipment - the first adventure model in Honda's range to get the technology - along with fully adjustable Showa suspension and a factory-fitted skid plate. India launch timing has not been officially confirmed as of May 2026.
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India officially launched the 2025 XL750 Transalp in June 2025 at Rs 10,99,990 ex-showroom (Gurugram) - the same price as the 2024 model. Key updates include a new twin-LED headlight with Africa Twin-inspired DRL signature, revised Durabio windscreen, improved Showa suspension damping, and a 5-inch optically bonded TFT with Honda RoadSync connectivity.
Honda reduced the XL750 Transalp ex-showroom price by Rs 80,000 in India to clear existing stock ahead of the 2026 E-Clutch model update, bringing the price to Rs 10,99,990. Buyers shopping near the model-year transition are advised to check BigWing dealers for additional clearance offers on remaining 2025 stock.
The Transalp's biggest upcoming competition may come from within Honda's own stable - the Africa Twin's pricing has crept up, potentially making the Transalp the default recommendation for buyers who want Honda ADV DNA without a 20-lakh-plus price tag. Watch this space through 2026 as Honda BigWing expands its dealer footprint into Tier-2 cities, which should improve parts availability - currently a friction point for owners outside the top 8 metros.
