Honda NX200 Complete Specifications
The Honda NX200 is built around a 184.4 cc air-cooled, fuel-injected single-cylinder engine producing 16.76 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 15.7 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. It is OBD-2B compliant and mated to a 5-speed gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch - which makes the clutch pull noticeably lighter in stop-go traffic and prevents rear-wheel hop on aggressive downshifts.
Honda's ARAI-certified mileage is 35 kmpl, but owners consistently report 40-45 kmpl in city riding and up to 59 kmpl on steady highway runs. The 12-litre fuel tank with a 1.9-litre reserve gives a practical highway range of around 480-540 km.
On the chassis side, the NX200 uses a diamond-type steel frame with a 37 mm USD (upside-down) front fork - premium hardware that most bikes in this class skip entirely. The rear gets a monoshock. Ground clearance is 167 mm and seat height is 810 mm. At 148 kg kerb weight, it is one of the lightest bikes in the adventure-touring segment and feels nimble in city traffic.
Braking is handled by a 276 mm front disc and a 220 mm rear petal disc, with dual-channel ABS protecting both wheels - a genuine upgrade over the CB200X and unusual at this price point. Switchable traction control adds an additional safety net on slippery surfaces.
The feature list is where the NX200 really separates itself. A 4.2-inch TFT instrument console offers smartphone connectivity via Honda's RoadSync application, supporting turn-by-turn navigation, incoming call and SMS alerts, and music control. A USB Type-C charging port sits on the instrument cluster panel for daily device charging.
Full-LED lighting throughout - headlight, tail lamp, and turn signals - is standard, as are hazard lights and a side-stand engine cut-off. Tyres are 110/70-17 front and 140/70-17 rear on 17-inch alloy wheels, tubeless throughout.

Stacked against its closest rivals, the NX200 specification sheet is genuinely difficult to match at the price. The Hero Xpulse 210 offers more off-road hardware but is heavier (170 kg) and less feature-rich inside. The Suzuki V-Strom SX has more engine displacement (249 cc) but costs significantly more. If your priority is maximum safety hardware and connectivity features on a well-balanced tarmac tourer, the NX200 specifications deliver something unique in the under-Rs 2 lakh segment.
