Honda NX200 Latest News and Updates
February 2025 - Honda NX200 launched in India Honda officially launched the NX200 in February 2025 at Rs 1,68,499 (ex-showroom Delhi), directly replacing the CB200X which had been on sale since October 2021. The launch brought three key upgrades: dual-channel ABS in place of the CB200X's single-channel unit, a new 4.2-inch TFT instrument console with Honda RoadSync Bluetooth connectivity, and a USB Type-C charging port. The overall adventure-touring design language was also sharpened, with a new beak-style fender, revised bodywork, and a shorter windscreen.
2025 - OBD-2B compliance update; price revised Following the April 2025 OBD-2B compliance mandate for two-wheelers in India, Honda updated the NX200 to meet the stricter emission monitoring requirements. The OBD-2B variant carries a revised ex-showroom price of approximately Rs 1,58,594, a reduction from the initial launch price. The mechanical specification remained unchanged; the update was an emissions compliance and ECU calibration revision.
What the NX200 replaced The Honda CB200X, launched October 2021 at Rs 1,44,900, was discontinued in May 2025 ahead of the NX200's ramp-up at dealerships. The CB200X had a four-year run and is widely regarded as one of the best-value adventure tourers in India's 200cc segment. Existing CB200X owners have standard parts support for 5 years post-discontinuation.
Upcoming No refresh or update has been announced for the NX200 as of May 2026. The bike is currently sold through Honda BigWing and authorised Honda 2Wheelers dealerships across India.
